Powder characterization specialist Freeman Technology is hosting a half-day workshop ‘Understanding Powder Flow and Powder Behavior’ on September 25, 2012 at The Holiday Inn, Somerset NJ, USA. The event is intended for anyone involved in powder processing. Attendance, which includes lunch, is free of charge. However numbers are strictly limited and early registration is advised at the NJ Workshop registration page.
Experts from Freeman Technology will examine: why understanding powder flow is so important; traditional measurement techniques and advances in instrumentation; how powder behavior relates to performance in process operations; how to identify and quantify Critical Quality Attributes in order to optimize process performance and product quality; and the use of powder characterization techniques to improve and streamline the scale-up process.
For anyone attending the AAPS Annual Meeting & Exposition in Chicago, there is also the opportunity to register for Freeman Technology’s seminar ‘Fundamentals of particle interactions and powder flow – measurement and understanding for better product and process development’ which takes place from 2-4pm on Tuesday 16 October.
